Maybe try to make it vertically flip a 5x5 matrix of characters, then see if it generalizes to 3x3 and 7x7?

There is a best answer to that one. And when GPT-n finds “wyz” and it can be established that it didn’t shortcut it by finding some text about this particular problem, I’ll be worried.
