I stand in solidarity with every victim of abuse, every shouted-over hardworking man and woman who just wanted to make the world a better place. Over my dead, non-national, project editor body will I ever touch another GNU-related piece of code or improve a GNU-related thing.

(Even though I say man and woman, I obviously include all of my two-spirit, nonbinary, and other folk who are here and ready to do the work. Even if they never change, we will make something better.)

I have some implementation to do soon™️. I wasn't sure whether to play with libc++ or libstdc++ but you helped me make the choice :)

Oh god. If people start flocking in droves to contribute to LLVM or even MS it'll drive RMS nuts. I've just recently read a thread back from 2015 about some people (including RMS) flipping their shit about someone writing a piece of code that'd allow you use to LLDB from Emacs.

RMS also opposed gcc-xml because that would allow proprietary software to read GCC's AST which is somehow bad. lwn.net/Articles/259293/

As someone who would never enter that space because I see whose safety they value: thank you 🙏
